Following treatment that included a successful double mastectomy, her doctors declared her cancer-free. Christina Applegate began 2008 riding high on the success of Samantha Who? only to be humbled by a diagnosis of breast cancer. Shortly after her double mastectomy, she made an inspirational appearance at the Emmys, saying: “It's a great day. I've got a pretty dress on and lipstick, and it's something I haven't done in two months. It really feels good to be here.”
It feels pretty good to us too to have her back on TV and cancer-free, as she's a woman of incredible talent and charisma, not to mention a knockout beauty.
